hi i have been seeing this lad from work for three weeks everything was great till the other night wen he got a txt off another girl saying shes nos hes with me but she likes him. i had a few tears and he told me he wanted me an not herthen things were ok. but then last night he gave me a lift home kissed me bye then txt me about an hour latersaying we were finished. i have never cryed over a lad b4 but he really shocked and hurt me i want him back but i want him to come back to me in the long run. and how do i act around him cos ill want to cry to him but i think it wud put him off even more? the reason for finishin he said was its not going gd when it was only thursday he was sayin how much he liked me do you think this is a chickens way out so he can get with the other girl ??

It probably was a chicken's way out.

If you want him back, wait a week or two and then call him just to see how he is doing, to let him know you still care, and to maintain contact. Don't talk about your relationship. Be cheerful and keep the call to 15 mins.

He should feel comfortable with being friends and you will keep yourself in the running for getting him back.
