I can't accept that the bad could possibly overcome all the good that we hadSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: After dating for about a year and a half, my ex and I broke up due to a whole lot of different reasons. Although we had plenty of reasons to leave each other we still loved each other a lot. His only way of getting over this was to completely ignore me. And although this is common, it was extremely hard for me because I was crazy about him and we were literally perfect for each other. Everyone thought it, and so did we. I think the main reason we didn't work out was that we were too young. My problem is that although I've moved on and found other guys that I've been able to love, I STILL think about him ALL THE TIME! And it's been 3 years. My friends and some of his are convinced that we will eventually get back together. But when we went on a date a couple months ago, it was awful. None of the good feelings we used to have were there, and all that was left was the bitterness and sadness over the breakup. I still have hope. I don't know what to do. I think part of me might not want to let go since I can't except that the bad could possibly overcome all the good that we had. Please help. Our Suggestion: This how romance works sometimes. You still long for those old comfortable, loving feelings but they won't come back for both of you. I think that date a few months ago tells the whole story. Don't give up home, you will find someone to replace him sometime. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
