I am having trouble with my friend. I told her I liked her and since then we have grown pretty close. She has a boyfriend now though. I have to know if there is ever a chance for us to be together. She is so sweet to me and tells me she loves me. We hug all the time and kiss on the cheek. We have a lot of fun together. If she wanted to be with me would she have broken up with her bf and gone to me? Are there any signs I can see telling me she likes me? Do you think she sees me as a safety net if she and her bf break up then she can go out with me? Please Help

She is making it amply clear to you that she not only likes you but loves you too. It may be love for a friend, but love is a strong word in any case.

You probably are her safety net. But don't despair, you are lucky to be seeing her at all as she has a boyfriend.
