I told her I liked her and since then we have grown pretty close. We give each other big hugs and she said I love you to me and signs her AIM messages xoxo. She has a bf now though. Is it ok if I give her a kiss on the cheek when we hug and say I love you. She's 17 im 19 by the way. Our Suggestion: You need to deal with the boyfriend issue. Say to her "I love you too, but I am concerned about you having a boyfriend." Ask her why she treats you so nice when she has a boyfriend. Be ready for her to say that she considers you a best friend and that she loves you as a friend. If she replies that she loves you as more than a friend then you need to suggest that she needs to do something about the boyfriend because you feel uncomfortable with him still being in the picture.
