After she read the letter she said that it made her cry and that im a big influence in her lifeSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My girlfriend broke up with me a little over a month ago because she said she said she didn't want a bf and wanted to be independent. She's moved to college about 4 months and we are about 7 hrs apart I visted her two times and the 2nd time I ended up staying there for a month I got a job in the town she lives in and I was gonna get a apartment. She wasn't ready for that big of a commitment so I backed off and went back home. Then she broke up with me about a month when i came back.We were together for 4 months but we had prior to our relationship had a thing going on. She has a drinking problem.. and I told her not to drink cause she get's out of hand. I'm pretty confused.. cause recently she was like I love you but I'm not in love with you theres no interest anymore. She got into town for winter break. We ended up having sex. The next day I wrote her a letter talking about my view on things and saying how I kinda understand why she broke up. We both agreeded we shouldn't have had sex. After she read the letter she said that it made her cry and that im a big influence in her life and that I will always be more then a friend but we need to act like friends when we hang out. I really love this girl. My question is.. is there any hope? Our Suggestion: There is always hope! Be her best friend and she may come back to you. The distance and her drinking are important factors. When you moved there that should have been a good thing. You have to realize that given her drinking, there is a pretty good chance that she has had boyfriends or has one boyfriend right now. That would explain why she broke off with you... out of guilt. Treat her as a best friend ... it's the best you can do. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
