His ex really did some damageSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am now back together with my first boyfriend. When we were teens, I was in a foster home and we got split up, forbidden to see each other and I then got sent away. Years later, after he has been married and divorced (for about a year and a half now) We started spending time together in Decemeber. He doesn't want to accept gifts from me and only his family is the exception. Before he was so loving and giving. He did that stuff and this rule goes for Valentines day. He celebrated it with me before when we were Young. This year would be our first REAL Valentines together. I can only think of making him a Valentines day card that is NOT bOUGHT and seeing if I can get away cooking him up a Valentines day surprise dinner. (His mom lives at his house and I thought about getting her help me on that and so far he hasn't let me cook for him.) Is there any other suggestions that can be given as to what to do for him for Valentines Day? It is apparent that his ex really did some damage and I really care about him, I want to show him I really care and know I got to warm his heart back up. I can't help to be thoughtful and really want to do SOMETHING for this special day. What to do? (P.s. I found that if I made or given something not bought or written a letter, he does accept and keep those.) Our Suggestion: If you can't get a dinner going you could make him a batch of Valentine's Day cookies with pink and white icing. I hope the dinner works out though. And why not make cookies too ? Or a heart shaped chocolate cake. It's too bad that he was hurt so bad. It is going to take a lot of patience on your part to bring him back. Keep working on him slowly until he relaxes and accepts your tenderness. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
