No matter what happens I just want you to be happySuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hello....I was kind of wondering if you could tell me if this is a stupid thing to say to my ex girlfriend. See, she broke up with me about 8 months ago, dated this other guy for 6 months, then after they broke up I was going to try and get back with her, but this other guy she works with likes her too. I have stayed friends with her this entire time, but the other day I went to ask her if she'd want to maybe go on a date or hang out sometime, and she told me about this other guy asking her out before I even got the chance. So...I'm thinking of writing her an email telling her how I feel, and saying these few lines, which I'm contemplating on whether or not they sound pathetic and are only going to hurt my chances of ever getting another shot with her....here goes... "I am glad that we have remained friends and I really enjoy talking to you. No matter what happens I just want you to be happy, and I wish you the best of luck with this new guy you are seeing. However, if for some reason things don't work out between you guys and you ever have a change of heart, you know that I will always be up for giving things another shot with you if you would want to try it." Our Suggestion: It's perfect. I wouldn't change a word. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
