I cant understand why she won't meet or talk on the phone as friendsSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: i really really like this one girl, i was 19 when we met, she was 15, it started off as just friends, but my feelings have grown, i am now 21, she is 16, i have known her for 15 months now, and we have been great friends all the way through. we met online through a chat site, we hit it off from the second we introduced ourselves, talking 21 hours in the first 3 days, we both have admitted that as strange that it sounds, that we both felt trust from the start, neither of us could explain it either, for about 6 months after we met, we would talk for 5 to 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, either it being online, or texting. i began to realise i had feelings of more than just friends for her, and now i feel that i am in love with her. we went through a bad stage for 3 months, where we seemed to argue alot, but no matter how bad things were, we just wanted to keep gettin back talking. we both live local to each other, but meeting is an awkward area, we have only met 3 times, which all times she was shy, and hardly spoke, i would like to meet more, and get to know each other in person, but she seems to back off, same as with talking on the phone, she seems to back off with that too, and i cant understand why. i have been told loads of different possible reasons by friends and family, most thinking, that she is afraid of getting into a serious relationship at 16, but i cant understand why she wont meet or talk on the phone as friends. could she be nervous? or could she just be settling for friendship online? its really confusing me, cos there are signs for both sides of the question, "does she like me or not" i hope you can determine anything from what i have said, because i really love her, and would like more than anything for her to feel the same, but i cant make any sense of things. still to this day, we speak almost everyday, but still dont know whether she likes me or not as more than friends p.s i have tried keeping it as short as possible, loads of things have been missed out, if you need any questions answered first, please feel free to email kind regards Our Suggestion: My guess is that she is shy because of the age difference. This becomes much more apparent when you are in person or on the phone rather than the more impersonal internet. She may also worry what her parents might think. Considering how much time she has spent online with you it seems clear to me that she likes you as more than a friend. But to be on the safe side, why don't you just come right and ask her? You may discover a number of things that you didn't know. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
