She knows I'd risk life and limb to keep her safeSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: hello. ive written here before. long story short the friend of mine that i have liked for 4 years recently acquired a stocker. He scared her pretty bad. it didnt help that he was her exboyfriend. Anyway she was pretty shook up and upset so i took her away from it all. I took her to a place to be alone and gave her time to think. I told her she can always visit or i can go there when shes worried about being alone with him on the prowl. I even called the guy and I firmly told him to stop (putting my ass on the line) since then he has slowed down. I even said that "i cared about her"! I told her as well that she could always count on me to be there and that i had her back. I still cant believe i gave her a kiss on the wrist. she hugged me a few times and told me that i was the best and invited me over at her house the very next night because she had the house all to herself. Unfortunately i was unable to go. My questions 1.Is there any chance that my actions and the kiss and the "i care about you" got through, and she's is starting to understand or do i still need to be even more direct? 2.this stocker thing, i have a feeling is not over yet. but she knows id risk life and limb to keep her safe now. is this a bad time to push finally and be as direct as possible? 3.She may need a friend more than a person asking her out. shes vulnerable. but cant i do both? it may even prove how much i care. should i go that final step and ask her at this time? i wont wait much longer anyway. thanks for any advice you may have. Our Suggestion: 1. She certainly has the idea that you like her, but you still need to reverify your feelings because one time doesn't really tell the whole story. 2. Since she is concerned about a stalker now the best thing is not to push her because she is already upset. Continue to make sure she knows you will protect her. 3. Buy her a nice Valentine's Day present and ask her out the same time when you give it to her. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
