Playing with her hairSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, I wrote to you some days ago and since you haven't replyed yet, I'm writing to you again. There's a girl I like, and I went to the movies with her once, but I know she doesn't like me. In the last few weeks, I've been tryinhg to show her subtly that I like her as more than a friend, for example, other day I played with her hair (passed my hand gently through her hair) while she was playing on my mobile phone, and I felt really good doing that and looking to her, but she told me to stop after some time, because she didn't wanted her hair to get "oily" (I don't know if this is the best wird to describe it, but I have some lack of english vocabulary because I'm portuguese). At my english classes she is sitten right after me and spend the entire class talking about family, tv shows, etc. Anyway, my problem is that I want to be with her very badly and I'm starting t desperate. I think taht a great relashionship must begin with a friendship, and so I want to become one of her's best friends, I just don't know how. I've seen some advices in wich you say that I need to share feelings with her, but I don't know what to share feelings about. We sometimes talk about personal matters such as family, and by doing that I alredy know how her family is. I think she hasn't noticed this yet, but when she asks something to me, I always do anything for her, as fast as I can and the best as I can, it becomes my priority. I don't want her start avoiding me, because that would destroy me and I woul have to forget her, and I don't want to do that. Do you think that playing with her hair was a bad idea or can I do it more times without risking too much? What more do i need to do to become at least her best friend? note: I think my last email was lost and it might not be your fault, so don't be upset with my start of the letter. Sorry for the mess Our Suggestion: Bom dia ou talvez boa noite! Your English is very good but my Portuguese is not so good. So I will answer in English :) You are doing very well with this girl. You talk with her a lot in class, she didn't get angry when you ran your fingers through her hair... she only said to stop after a while. You should run your fingers through her hair again unless she becomes angry or insists you stop right away. To attract her to you, you should be kind, sweet, honest, friendly, and yes share your feelings. Talk about your families, friends, teachers, your hopes for the future, and how you feel about her. Also, be sure to dress nicely and take care of your hygiene (hair, teeth, breath, body odor, fingernails). She will notice these things and so will other girls. Hope this helps! George p.s. it usually takes a week or even more to answer questions so patiencia :) --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
