I don't know what is wrong with me. Slowly I have gotten better at talking to guys but I can't get any to go out with me. So many guy friends have said I am beautiful, smart, caring.. and so on but if that's true then what's wrong with me. Only the guys I don't want seem to go for me... The guy I do want.. is the first guy I have ever asked out.. he was flirting with me but he is a big flirt and he said he liked me. For the first time ever i felt like a guy actually could like me, but then he eventually said no to going out with me because he wasn't ready for a girlfriend or something but I don't know if that was just to protect my feelings. Please give me some tips on how to act around guys and what my problem could be since I am pretty, (although not conceited) I'm not unpopular (although not like the queen of the school) what could I do? I hope this isn't too long but I have depression and avoidence personality disorder so i freak out easy. please help. Our Suggestion: Is it possible that it is your personality that scares guys off? You said you have a depressive and avoidance personality syndrome and that you freak out easily. These aspects of your personality can be easily read by another person and they might avoid you. You said there are guys who are interested in you but you aren't interested in them. Why not give one of these guys a chance so you can practice your boy skills some more? It will make him happy and probably make you feel better. The more boys you meet, the less depressed you will be and the less you will need to avoid people. Give it a try. Good luck!
