With two men and love both of them

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I'm not sure what to do. I have been with my high school sweet heart for almost four years now. Things were great, but I started cheating on him about a year and a half into out relationship. The man that I am cheating on him with is a lot older than me and also married. I have fallen in love with this man. I love my high school sweet heart and wish things could work out between him and I but there is no trust there. I left the one I was cheating on him with for a while, and nothing got better so I ended up going bach to the married man. He claims he is going to get a divorce when I am out of school, which isn't too far away. I know things are not good between them, but I'm not sure if he will ever leave. For some reason I cannot get rid of the high school sweet heart. I do love him very much, but I feel very comfortable with him and I feel like that is the part of the problem. I would choose the married man if her were divorced. I hate the feeling of the going in between. I just need help to figure out how I can get rid of the high school sweet heart for good. We will break up, and eventually get back together. I believe and have good reason to believe that he is cheating as well. I know I should not be with the married man either, but I am so emotionally involved with him. Please provide some advice of what I should do. I am an emotional wreck. I have always been the type person that knows cheating is wrong and I hate doing it, but I keep doing it. Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
My guess is that the married man would have already divorced his wife by now if he really loved you. Waiting until you are out of school sounds rather bogus.

You already know that it is wrong to be cheating and that cheating with a married man is even worse so there is no point in giving you advice on that subject.

All you ask for is advice on how to leave your high school sweetheart. The answer is: tell him you are cheating on him and that you will marry the married man as soon as he is divorced. That should get the message across.

Good luck! George
