Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
ok my girlfriend and i had been together for a year and a half, every thing was great her family loved me and mine lover her. We spent every day together our first summer, then the next summer we didnt spend as much time together. I still thought everything was great, she even talked about being together forever. Well two weeks into college we vistited eacother and such, and she sent mes text messages saying i was the best and she loved me soo much. on our last visit she told me i was the one, the next day she called and said it was over. A week later she is with another guy, who to me seems like a dead beat, she has even been drinking which is not like her at all. I love her soo much and worry about her, how can i get her back?

Talk to her

I would definitely talk to her about it. Since you two had been together for 2 years you should be able to become friends and talk about why she has done this. The same thing happened to me with my first relationship. I was with a guy for almost 2 years and then out of the blue he left me for someone else (whom he is married to now and has a baby with) I'm not trying to scare you AT ALL... It was hard to get over, but we lived 15 minutes apart and not seeing him made me realize that someone who would do that to me is just NOT worth it. Be VERY happy that you two don't go to the same college. On the other hand, maybe she just needs to get this out of her system and see that you are more dear to her than the new guy. Keep in mind also that he is her "rebound" from you. I think you just need to talk to her and figure out her intentions and write back here and tell us what she says. We may be able to understand her once we know more information.
Hope I can help!
