Jealous of Bestfriend
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleMy girlfriend has a lot of guy friends and three best friends. She's on the phone with quite a lot and I get jealous of it. We have a long-distance relationship so sometimes, by the time she's done talking on the phone w/ one of hte bestfriends, she would call me and say she's going to sleep already. So she would ask me to stay on the phone w/ her. She is my first gf, but she had 2 other bf.
One of her bestfriend, she gave him oral sex last year on his birthday before i met her. that same bestfriend was also the cause of a little break in our relationship early this year because she was having feelings for him. But she decided that she don't want to lose me.
The other bestfriend, she's always attracted to his guitar playing. He's the one she talks to the most. She would send him songs, but never send me any.
The other bestfriend, i recently found out that last year, when she didn't have a boyfriend, they used to nap together a lot. Then i recently asked her not to ride with him in a bike anymore because i asked her if she felt weird riding in another guy's bike and she has a boyfriend already (me). She said, no because she's not doing anything anyway.
How can i overcome my jealousy and insecurity? I am a quiet guy and sometimes, I don't have much to say. She's a talkative person and sometimes she'd be quiet on the phone w/ me, but i'm sure she's really talkative with her bestfriends, and her bestfriends are talkative with her too.
RomanceClass.com AdviceSince you are in a long distance relationship, you are going to have to suffer the jealousy more strongly than most people.
She is an outgoing, friendly person and she is going to be doing things (not sexual things) with other guys all the time. Trust is a very important part of a good relationship. She seems to be telling you the truth about what she is doing.
