Jealous of BestfriendWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male My girlfriend has a lot of guy friends and three best friends. She's on the phone with quite a lot and I get jealous of it. We have a long-distance relationship so sometimes, by the time she's done talking on the phone w/ one of hte bestfriends, she would call me and say she's going to sleep already. So she would ask me to stay on the phone w/ her. She is my first gf, but she had 2 other bf. One of her bestfriend, she gave him oral sex last year on his birthday before i met her. that same bestfriend was also the cause of a little break in our relationship early this year because she was having feelings for him. But she decided that she don't want to lose me. The other bestfriend, she's always attracted to his guitar playing. He's the one she talks to the most. She would send him songs, but never send me any. The other bestfriend, i recently found out that last year, when she didn't have a boyfriend, they used to nap together a lot. Then i recently asked her not to ride with him in a bike anymore because i asked her if she felt weird riding in another guy's bike and she has a boyfriend already (me). She said, no because she's not doing anything anyway. How can i overcome my jealousy and insecurity? I am a quiet guy and sometimes, I don't have much to say. She's a talkative person and sometimes she'd be quiet on the phone w/ me, but i'm sure she's really talkative with her bestfriends, and her bestfriends are talkative with her too. User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female Dump her dump this girl!!!! Shouldn't you be her best friend? Shouldn't she have girls as best friends? Don't trust her. And when she says she doesn't get along with girls or any of that crap dont belive her. She has all these boyfriends because she craves attention. Shoulnd't you be enough attnetion for her? Obviously you are not. You need to break up with her and tell you why you are doing this. Don't give her an ultimatum. If she wants you back she will stop talking to her other "best friends" if that is what you want to call it. But if she doesn't come up with this idea on her own then just leave her be and find a girl who wants to be your best friend and only your best friend. The Original Question and RomanceClass Answer
