Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Femalei'm 20 i have a 20 month old baby i'm dating a younger guy he is 17. i really love him. he is not my baby's father but he is really good to him. do you think it's ok to be dating knowing he is that young?
RomanceClass.com AdvicePeople mature at vastly different rates. One person might not be ready for a family when they are 30 or older. Other people might be quite happy settling down to a wife and kids when they are barely 20.
However, if this guy is 17, he is a minor. It is illegal for you, as an adult, to have relations with him. I would stay good friends with him but not get serious right now. Wait until he is 18 and you've been with him for several months before you get more serious - for both of your sakes. That way he is 100% an adult legally and you've both had time to really see what it would be like to spend a lot of time together.
