We lived together and were engaged but we found to have severe irreconcilable differences

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I was with a girl for 4 years. We lived together and were engaged but we found to have severe irreconcible differences and mutually went different directions. After two months I realized how much I love her as my do not quit mentality kicked in. I tried to get her back but to find that she said she's been seeing someone else and I believe right after we broke up and with a co-worker of hers. Despite our problems we had a very loving relationship and cared deeply for each other. So how come I feel that after a relationship of that magnitude she is giving me a big screw you and having me feel that the past four years was nothing to her to where she shoved ahead so quickly? But I have no idea the status of her new "relationship." I just feel like the breakup never bothered her. And that really hurts.

Thanks,

K

RomanceClass.com Advice
Some people react to breakups differently than others.

The "rebound" factor is very strong in some individuals while others are more likely to wait before looking for someone new.

You don't really know how she feels about this new guy nor do you know how she feels about you.

Try to think positively about her and that might help.

Good luck!
George
