should I even continue trying if he keeps telling me he doesnt love me anymore ?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy boyfriend broke up with me 2 months ago, said he didn't love me anymore and didn't even want to take another chance at working things out . We had been going out for over a year , and he was my first real boyfriend . I am 21 years old , and I took our relationship really seriously. Anyway , I am still very much in love with him and I want to get him back so badly . But , should I even continue trying if he keeps telling me he doesnt love me anymore ?
And another thing I hate , is that , as soon as he broke up with me , about two weeks later, he got back in contact with his ex-girlfriend , that he hasn't seen or talked to in over a year . Which I find pretty strange . And now they've been talking and making plans to hang out together, which makes me feel sick to my stomach :( I really feel like they might end up getting back together and I just dont know what to do . I know we're meant to be together , deep down , I feel that , if he would just spend some time with me , he could fall back in love with me. Maybe I'm just dillusional... I don't know . But , how can I make him see that he should give me another chance ? And how can I make him see that he's better off with me then his ex girlfriend ?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYour best bet is to stay good friends with him.
Call him once a week and ask how he is doing. Make sure he knows you still love him but otherwise don't talk about your relationship.
So long as you are friends, you will still be in his mind if this thing with his ex falls through.
I would also advise that at age 20 you should try to get some more experience with guys before you decide that this one is meant to be. There are lots of guys out there that may be better for you and you for them.
Good luck!
