How to attract a boy
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Femaleyeah well i just wrote to you, and ill paste my old entry here and your response.
ok, for starters, im 13. and theres this guy i like, but i never told him. hes really nice and stuff, but i knew he would never like me cause im not pretty and stuff. the thing is, i told a lot of people about him and someobdy i hated found out, but he said he would be quiet. but yesterday my friend said to the guy i like that she knows someobdy who liked him. he said yeah and then my name. then my friend was surprised that he knew, but she pretended like she was just shocked that i liked him. she said she likes you? and he said yeah. my friend said she was talking about someone else. she asked if he would go out with me, and he said im a good person but he doesnt want to go out with me. i was afraid that when he found out, he'd think i was weird or be embarrassed and things would be akward between us, but i guess hes known about it for a while and hes been acting normally. so what do i do now? i really like him and want to out with him, but he doesnt. help!!!
now heres what you wrote:
First thing to do is to make friends with him.
Doing this is pretty easy. All you have to do is greet him everyday
whenever you meet him in the hallway. Look him in the eyes and say in a
clear voice "Hi" plus his name, and give him a big smile.
Keep doing this until you feel comfortable enough to ask him how is
doing and later on chatting with him. If he is a nice person he will be
sure to like the attention you are giving him. Then you could ask him
out.
well the problem is that WE ARE FRIENDS. like we talk a lot in our classes and have interesting discussions. so we are friends, but as you can see above, he just doesnt like me. any suggestions?
RomanceClass.com AdviceHe said you are a good person but he doesn't want to go out with you.
So try turning yourself into someone he wants to date. Here are some of the things that boys look for in a girl: pretty, well groomed (hair is neat and nicely cut, fingernails are manicured), well dressed (shoes clean, form fitting but not tight dresses or pants/blouses, winter wear), intelligent, witty, popular, kind, funny, and athletic to mention a few.
Of course you can't be all of the above, but you can work a little bit on each one and gradually you will be more attractive.
Here's another idea: bake some chocolate chip cookies and bring them to school for him.
Good luck! George
