if ur hands are cold, go to ur crush and tell him. he will most likely ask if he could do something about it! grab his and say, "u can". wa la! ur holding hands and this will lead to naturally holding hands in the future. If however he doesnt do anything when you tell him your hands are cold he either is stupid, doesnt like you in that way , or he just doesnt know what to do.
