Hanover Street
Set during WWII, in London, an American pilot (Harrison Ford) and British nurse (Lesley-Anne Down) meet on Hanover Street. After several subsequent rendevous, they are both almost killed during the bombing of London. Realizing they have fallen in love with each other, they decide to spend the weekend at her country estate. But the nurse is married and has a small daughter, so the relationship gets complicated, as she is torn between the love she feels for her flying hero and the commitment she owes to her husband, a secret agent who has little time for her during wartime.
