I'd say communication is one of the most important things in a relationship - if you cant talk to your partner then you're not comfortable with them, which in turn means your relationship can't be successful.
ive had the misfortune of being stuck in a relationship like that for 3 whole months and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone to be going out with someone who you talk to less than all your other friends put together.
so try and talk to him/her as much as possible, let them know how you feel and open up, it will do wonders! :)
