I was going out with a girl who was in a different state from me. We were together for around about 10 months and it ended suddenly and tore my heart to shreds. She said somewhere along the way something just changed. She was the best thing that had ever happened to me, i don't want anyone else nor do i want to open my heart to anyone else. Then after a month or so of giving her space to finish her exams (which may have been the main conrtibuting factor to the breakup) i sent her an email and just told her what i was doing, what i had been doing etc.. i recieved an email back from her not long after and she told me she was happy that i still wanted to be a close friend and didn't want to give up. Anyway after another month or two (in which we contacted each other and talked) i told her i still cared about her and that i would do anything for another chance to make a relationship with her work... she told me she had been thinking about our situation for awhile (especially while her exams where on) and she told me she was thinking alot about when we first got together and how happy we were and how everything was inline in her life and that when we broke up she started to notice that she didnt have that spot of inlineness anymore. She said she realised she made a mistake breaking up with me and she said she was afraid she wrecked what we had and what we would have in the future. She said she didn't feel right not having me there on the phone or anything else. After awhile of talking about how we feel about each other and how things didn't seem right without eachother i asked her if we could give it another try, and try to make it work. She said yes and it was the best moment of my life we are happily together and things are the way they are supposed to be. What i'm trying to show is that giving him/her space to realise what they had done (circumstances permitted, if you cheated on them, hurt them physically etc.. it wont apply i doubt) and a little nudge from you they will remember why they liked/loved you and it will come back to them and they will know what not to do and what to keep close to their heart.
I am a lucky one to be the man the girl of my dreams and angel of my prayers has come back to.
