"Snuff", perhaps the most unexpected song by a band like slipknot, who generally play nu metal pieces, present a composition which is truly based upon some of the saddest and mind-numbing events, summed into a four minute song, resulting in a dramatic overtake of sadness to any listener. Anyone who listens to it can,t help but remember that one moment where we wish we,d done something to stop it from happening, so they keep listening, only because the truth is, we don,t only love the song because we can relate to it, but because there,s something inside us that likes the "sad" emotion to be felt on occasion. I highly recommend this song to everyone, and for your sake, do not wear it out, because you,ll need the song another time, regardless of how bad of a tragedy you recently experienced.
