Address Problems Early On
A compromise is most easily reached when both partners are able to look at a situation with relaxed and open-to-discussion eyes. If you sense a trouble spot coming up, talk about it immediately. If you deal with it in advance and with options open, a compromise shouldnīt be too difficult. If you keep putting it off because you donīt want to deal with it, by the time it becomes necessary to handle it quickly there wonīt be the time or ability to work through it properly. This will also set a bad tone for the next time a similar situation occurs.
