Very confused about love....
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleHello, I was just wondering, my girlfriend and I have been going out for about 6 months now, but before we went out she dated one of my friends for about 3 months, we all still hang out, she says that she has no feelings for him what so ever and I believe her, but I just have worries about her. If she didnt like me before and choose my friend over me in the past, do you think she may choose someone over me again (maybe shes with me right now just for convenience, cause we r always together, like best friends?)
Im very confused about this girl. We have a very open communication ... we can freely talk about our past relationships, etc. we can even talk about other people on the streets (whos good looking and whos not, sometimes it bothers me but not that much). Anyways the thing that is bugging me the most is, a friend of hers will come and visit her and stay at her place for a few weeks ... this use to be her best friend before she moved, she told me BEFORE we went out (when we were getting to know one another) that she thinks their meant to be together, but now she says shes in love with me...... Im not sure what to believe and what to think and what to expect, can you please help me? I think im in love, i think she may be to, but when she talks about this friend of hers, she speaks of him very highly, etc. And she has never done anything with the other guy, besides a kiss, which DOESNT give me ease, cause in the back of my mind i think she may be thinking, "what would it be like with him...."
please help, its a huge dilemma for me
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou are having trouble trusting her. Trust is a very important aspect of a good relationship.
Six months isn't really enough time to build a really strong trust (although some people do manage it). In reality you are doing quite well with the situation and should be proud of yourself.
Here is a very good website about building trust:
