how do i play this?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleMet this one girl in my first week of college this week. Im going to get to know her. Anyway last time i never had a shot with a girl cause she saw me as a friend. This time i HAVE to be a friend in the getting to know her stage but i dont want her to BRAND me as friend ONLY. So how do i play this so she sees me as a friend getting to know her but somebody she could possibly want to ask out?
Oh and one thing she used to be engaged. I think that that is done now. But anyway is there anything i dont see about her prior engagment that would bode badly for me? She is only one year older than me but i have a feeling there is something im not seeing about that aspect of her past that could give me trouble. Im showing her around this monday and then we'll hang out.
RomanceClass.com AdviceThere's really no way around the being a friend syndrome.
Usually when a girl says she sees you as a friend it means that she is not attracted to you enough to be a girlfriend. How to become attractive? Start off with good communications, develop trust, and show affection. Sometimes it clicks sometimes not.
Regarding her ex, the fact that they were engaged implies a stronger connection that the usual ex. There is a possibility that he could come back into the picture. Once you get to know her a little better, ask about him.
Good luck! George
