WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET HIM BACK AND NOT PUSH HIM FARTHER AWAY?
Visitor's Question from a 51-60 year old FemaleWE HAVE BEEN DATING FOR 10-MONTHS WE ARE BOTH IN OUR 50'S. ITS A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP BUT I KNOW MY FEELINGS FOR HIM ARE REAL. LAST Sunday after my call to him something set him off and he wrote me an e-mil letting me know that the relationship was off. We were making plans to move to Tuscon together with his job transfer. What set him off was me mentioning something about God in my conversation and now I wish I would have not done that. He is a great guy I know he is in love with me but he has been alone for 22 years and is nervous about the relationship. I have been alone 10 years but I feeel very blesed to be in love again. I don't know how to win him back???
RomanceClass.com AdviceAsk him to start over again from scratch.
After 22 yrs, 10 months of dating isn't long enough for him to be comfortable with having a very close relationship. He was so nervous about it that almost anything you said could have set him off.
If you start over again and drop the Tucson idea, maybe after another year of dating he will be ready to make a dramatic life-style change.
Good luck! George
