Is this just me or is she cheating?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleOkay first off....I'm not sure if this can be called cheating but I didn't know where else to put it....
I'm dating someone with whom I had a previous relationship before, we dated for 3 years and split up for two, now we're back together(by her request) but things don't add up anymore..
I really love her and try to be the best boyfriend I can be...but my problem is this
Whenever we're in public, she will try and hide the fact that we're together..whenever we're at a club or party, and there's an attractive man, she will chat to him, but when I aproach her, she will seem distant, and never mentions anything about us being together, so when I try and kiss her, she will back off.......I didn't ask her to get back together...I was getting better(cause I really had a major breakdown when we broke up) and was on my way off moving on, SHE ASKED ME BACK!!. she was the one who "saw something in me" that night we got back together....now she playing this damn game all over again, most of her friends are males, and every man I know wants to get in her pants...it's a constant struggle to keep them away, and then if I do mention anything about it to her, she says that I must stop being so jelious, and that they're only friends.......She is MY girlfriend, I have a right to show it........
Do you know what's up with this woman? because I'm getting sick of this, I love her very much and would do anything for her, but this is our last chance, and I really want to see where this can go, but the way she acts is driving me away....
Please help
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis is a combination of jealousy on your part and rudeness on her part.
She isn't cheating, but she is engaging in behavior that would make you feel bad about her and yourself too.
She isn't going to change her ways easily and your feelings aren't going to go away easily either.
My advice is to see a couples counselor to help you two to figure out how to resolve your problem... or maybe it is unresolvable. You should find out. If she won't go with you then go alone.
Good luck! George
