Asking this girl out

Going to ask this girl out to dinner. What would be the best way to ask it and should I go for the dinner and a movie or just dinner for the first date. Me and her are real shy around each other and I haven't asked many girls out kinda unsure of a good way to to do it.

A good way is to simply ask her.

There is nothing special about it. Ask her if she wants to go out for dinner and a movie (yes, do both). Then settle upon a date and time and if you are going to pick her up find out where she lives.

She knows you are both shy so she won't expect a polished performance from you OR herself.
