I'm not the only girl that he wants
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleRecently, a friend of mine confessed his feelings for me, and I also share the same feelings for him. But, the problem is... he told me that he also has feelings for some of his other female friends.
We had been going on unofficial dates for several months, and I've never seen him getting close to anyone else. Also, he brought me to his sister's banquet, and introduced me to some of his family members. At that time, I really thought that he loved me, and no one else.
I honestly did not realize that he had feelings for other women. When we worked in the laboratory together, he would give me frequent glances, and he would also show up before the lab opened just to have conversations with me.
I really don't know what to do about this. We are still friends, but I don't know whether or not I should attempt to take this relationship any farther, because we actually live seven hours away from each other but are currently studying and working in the same area.
What should I do about my feelings for him? Should I get any closer to him?
RomanceClass.com AdviceShare your feelings with him. Tell him just what you said here: you are uncomfortable with his having feelings for other women and you wonder about the seven hour distance.
This should get the subject out in the open where he can explain himself. My tentative advice is to not get any closer to him until you get answers to your questions.
Good luck! George
