Conflict Between Me and Another Girl
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old FemaleOkay, right now I'm crushing on a guy in my class. He generally is the class clown who can make just about anyone laugh and often flirts with different girls just to see how they'd react. I catch him flirting with me a couple of times, a little bit more than he does with my other girl-classmates.
But a rumor is spreading that he has a serious crush on a younger girl one grade below us, whom people keep on saying has a crush on him, too. He says he just might go for the girl he's crushing on (and he never confirms nor deny the spreading rumor on the underclassman girl).
He tells me things he tells nobody else, and consults me a lot on different things, and in return, I consult him as well. I tried fishing out an answer out of him by saying I used to have a crush on him but got over it, and he shrugged it off by saying "Oh. Okay."
It makes me think that I'm more of his best friend than a girl he's crushing on.
Is he still worth fighting for?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou should still fight for him because you have a crush on him and he seems to like you too. Forget about the younger girl because you have to think about yourself and what to do.
It might be helpful to let him know that you still like him. You could do this by saying "I think I might be developing feelings for you again." If he reacts positively then your relationship might grow stronger.
Good luck! George
