I kissed a girl that wasn't my girlfriend...
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleLast night I went out with a male friend to a club. I have been dating my girlfriend for 7 months and I have always been very against cheating. While we were at the club, my friend and I got very drunk, and I decided to go dance, not with anyone in particular. I began to dance with this girl and all of a sudden she turns around and kisses me. It happened about three times and I did not stop her. The next day I felt absolutely horrible about it. My manager even let me go home because I was so emotionally affected. When my girlfriend got home, I told her without waiting. She's very upset and feels as though she can't trust me. I don't blame her. Did I do the right thing? (other than the kiss thing obviously)
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe thing you did wrong was to get very drunk alone at a club. That is trouble looking to happen... and it did.
Tell your girlfriend you won't get drunk again and keep to it. Otherwise you are likely to fail again since it goes with drunkenness.
It was good of you to tell your girlfriend what happened.
Good luck! George
