Should I make the big move or just leave him alone?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI am deeply in love with this one boy. he says he love me to. the problem is that he lives over 800 miles. when i graduate from stna courses i plan to move near him to continue my education in medical. I want to kno if i should do it. he says he loves me but when i call he always says he is busy and that he would call me back. he never calls me back when he say he will. he never texts me i have to text him first. he never does anything first. I have to call him, text him, and see him first. he does all this stuff but swears up and down that he loves me and wants me to be with him when i move down there. I really love him in all but I want to know should i move to be near him or just leave him alone?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis relationship seems to be all one-way. You approach him and he ignores you. You might ask yourself why you put up with it. Saying you are in love is not an answer. In that case you must love being ignored or you love being the one who is doing all the chasing.
Is that what you want for your life? If you move near him will his behavior become intolerable? Are you setting yourself up for misery and perhaps a situation which will adversely affect your college career?
Clearly I think you are into trouble and you recognize it but are living with it.
My advice is to tell him that his behavior is rude and impossible and that if he does not change his ways you will break up with him. I frankly don't think that he can change so you might start thinking of alternatives.
Good luck! George
