When do I make a move?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleOkay so my crush and I both go to the same art college. I met her through a mutual friend when her roommate and my friend we're supposed to be having a homework party and I tagged along. Haha, my friend ended up leaving for something and never coming back so I was stuck hanging out with my friend's friend and her very cute and polite roommate.
Okay anyway flash a month or two, I start going back to church because a girl in my class said that the church she went to had a really nice group of people. When I go to church with the group for the first time, I notice that the girl from before is in it. She hung out at my place shortly after that to work on homework, and I cooked for her. She seemed to be having a lot of fun. So anyway, it gets to finals month and she says she's really busy and that she can't really hang, so I decided not to interact with her outside of church too much until after winter break. How should I approach her when I get back?
RomanceClass.com AdviceShe sounds like a very nice, responsible girl. I would take it slow with her, but be upfront, and ask if she would like to do homework together again. Tell her you really like her company and studying with her. If she says yes, then ask if she would like you to cook for her again, or ask if she might like to cook something together. Don't push her - keep it nice and light. If she does like you, as she seems to, she should jump at the chance to have more enjoyable hang time. Just let things progress naturally. :)
