He Cheated Multiple Times and Now Doesn't Want Me Asking Questions
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleMe and my boyfriend broke up for the second time this year. The last time we broke up he went partying and I know he was sleeping with other girls.
This time, though, he contacts me and assures me he has not left his father's house (who won't allow us to be together or he wants no contact with his son).
Anyway we had arguments about what he was doing while he wasn't with me. He told me he won't come back unless I change and stop asking the same old questions. I reassured him I would because I love him and I want us to go back to how we were before we broke up. I simply don't want to lose him.
I asked if he would come and if I could pick him up but he told me he isn't ready. But when I contact him he talks to me and rings me to talk but says he isn't ready.
I'm confused and I'm not sure what to do.
We are both 22 and started dating in October two years ago but broke up January this year and got back together in August.
I'm afraid he expects me to wait again but I'm not sure if I can wait that long.
Please help.
RomanceClass.com AdviceHe's the one who violated your trust in the worst possible way and now he says "too bad just trust me"?? Of course you don't trust him! Of course you are checking up on him! He should be on his knees begging you to trust him again. He should be doing everything possible to prove he is WORTHY of trust. If his method of moving forward is to say "too bad, sucker, you just have to trust me blindly and not ask any more questions" then it's time to drop him. This is NOT someone you can trust to be there for you.
Breaking up is always hard. But this is a fairly clear case where you deserve someone who is ready to be your partner.
