Is He Being Friendly or Does He Want to Date?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleIve been friends with this guy for 5 years. in high scholl we would talk her and there, since he had a gril friend his senior year we only talked in math class.
Now we are in college, we started out just walking around the campus and talking for a while and then he always had to leave. Now we carpool together and he picks me up and drops me off at my house. He says he doesnt want me to deal with traffic.
We then begin to text message each other. The weird thing is is that when i do text message him he always replays within the hour at the lastest. If he doesnt replay after 7pm, which is when he works out, he will call me and we will talk for an hour and a half. we usually talk every day or text message each other every day. How do i know if he likes me as a freind or as a potential somebody?
Then all of a sudden he asks me over his house to hang out and play pool. We've done it for the past 3 weeks and then just last week he invited to ice skating and after we ice skated he asked if i was up for pool. so we went to his house and then after we played pool we watched a movie.
Then last Sunday he asked if i wanted to have dinner with him so i said "why not." Just later this week he asked me if i wanted to see a movie with him.
I dont know if this is considered as dating or just hangin out. What am i suppose to do?? I dont want to give him a hug and then he might think "ahh she likes me and i dont like her like that." I want to know if he like me as a good friend to hang out with or as a potential dating person. What signs am i suppose to look for?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThings are definitely seeming to be promising. Friends hug friends all the time. Give him a casual hug the next time you have to thank him for something. Don't make a big deal about it, just say thanks and give him a quick hug. Take the progression slowly. He can't complain about a friendly hug ...
