She's always mad or sad. What's the deal?
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old MaleI have been with my girlfriend for 3 years now and i love her more than anything. But lately it seems like she gets mad at every little thing i do. I was going to take her on a surprise picnic but at the last second she says she doesnt feel comfortable going alone with me. And now that i think about it, whenever we're together there is always someone else there. I talked to her tonight about these problems and she said that she has a problem with being called my girlfriend.. a problem with commitment. It's killing me inside. She seems so sad and mad now all the time. She said that she shouldn't be feeling like this. Always mad or sad. I took that as she wanted to break up with me. She said she only wanted the hurt to go away but she wanted us to stay together. I dont know what to do. I try so hard but she never seems satisfied with what i do for her. I dunno if this means whether she wants to break up or not. If she does i need to know how to fix things so i dont lose her.
RomanceClass.com AdviceI strongly suggest that you get her into some counselling to find out the source of these feelings. Three years is a long time for her to deny being your girlfriend. Something else is going on here that's beyond your control.
I believe that you're an incredible guy who will be a strong support for her while she goes through the counselling. I applaud that. But keep in mind that unless you went to college for psychology, you won't be able to help her get over this. She needs to talk to a professional.
Good luck!
