Cancelled date
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleLast sunday i was with my girlfriend, we had a great day and had arranged to see each other the following thursday, we were both busy during the day and night time all week so we were both cool with it.
Wednesday night i call her to wish her good luck because she was starting a new job on the thrusday and to say im looking forward to seeing her thursday night. However she tells me that some one at her old work place had bought tickets for a theatre show coz she had jus graduated from college.
Normally this would not bother me i would just say have a good time but the show was on the thursday that we was ment to see each other and she told me that she was going. i was not to pleased about this. she said that she didnt realise untill she see the date on the ticket, she told me when she realised she felt sick. i told her that y couldnt have u just given it back and some one else culd have gone, she just told me it was becasue they paid money.
But the thing is the week preivous to that my best friend had got us football ticket for the excutive box (not cheap), but i was taking my girlfriend out and turned him down. When the same happend to her she did not show me the same respect and she cancelled our arrangments. I had been looking forward to seeing her all week and she never called or anything. She said she was really sorry but this has made me so angry, we have made up but i am still so very angry for some reason.
i do not normally get this angry but she is very unreliable, she is always late and its never her fault, she constantly forgets things and always expects me to understand. 99.9% of the time i am but i cant do this all the time, she really hurt me last thrsday i felt so samll, i feel that she should have shown more loyalty. i know that sounds selfish but its the truth. what can i do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceHer behavior was rude and you are justified in being angry. However, just as in other matters, you need to forgive her because that is just the way she is.
Best wishes,
George
