Does he still care?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have already submitted my question about getting over my relationship, but I just have another concern I'm dealing with. After two years together, my ex never calls and that makes me very sad. It makes me feel like my relationship with him was so insignificant. Like if I did not mean anything to him at all. We had an okay relationship, and we have been broken up for almost two months. He called me by accident on March 16th, by asking me did I call him because a blocked number came across his phone. I believe that was just an excuse to call me, so he could ask me about receiving any mail. I just get so hurt that he doesn't even try to see how I am, or even act like he cares at all. I know he recently went on a date with someone else, but after two years he can't call and say Hello.

Do you think he doesn't call because he doesn't care and he
has moved on or do you think maybe he doesn't call because he is not over it. He broke up with me he should be over it. Let me say that I was his first serious relationship, and also his first sexual encounter

RomanceClass.com Advice
I think he is not over it and is avoiding you to avoid being embarrassed or hurt. But, I could be completely mistaken... it is hard to read someones mind over the computer and second hand.

Can you call him and ask him how he is doing? If you develop a friendship with him it may turn into something more.

But, overall, it seems to me that you should write him off as a bad investsment and move on with your life.

Best wishes!
George
