however about 2 weeks ago i found a 4 page letter from her to him
Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Femalei have been seeing this guy for about 2 months. he has a best friend who is a woman, they had once had a relationship that was intimate , he said they were lovers in the past and not so long ago. my problem is this. he told me that he had stoped the sex part of the relationship with her when we met , yet he still values her friendship, however about 2 weeks ago i found a 4 page letter from her to him stating the she was confused as to why she had to keep there relationship confidential. and that if he was telling me that he was just seeing me that our relationship was based on a lie. i then confronted him and he told me that she was mad when she wrote that letter because he had told her he wanted to be with me . he says that he stopped the sex part of there relationship when we met, if that was the case how come 2 weeks ago she wrote that letter. i tend to think that that is when he probably told her that he only wanted me and not when we first met. i dont know how to handle that if he did not stop seeing her when we met , or continued seeing her up until 2 weeks ago. what would you do . he says to me he wants to spend the rest of his life with me . loves me with everything he is. and all that good stuff. would you believe that or not. by the way he does still talk to this friend i think daily.should i worry about that since he says they are just friends. help me out here not sure what to do.
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe best way to get to the bottom of this is to ask her.
It may be awkward, but there is too much doubt in your boyfriend's story.
He may be telling the truth, and you could simply trust him, but since she is nearby, ask her. She would probably be delighted to give you an earful... then you would have to decide if she is lying.
Good luck and I hope this turns out your way.
