Girl freezes boy out
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malei am in 11th grade, and this girl i really like, even love, is in 12th grade. before she found out that i liked her, she would always say hi and try to hang around me and my best friend (which also happens to be one of her good friends). My best friend is a girl. At our marching band recognition night i went to ask her to dance, but she sort of avoided me. She went to another one of her friends and jokingly danced with her. After that, i found out that she had known for about a month that i liked her (even though i really think that i love her). Ever since then, she has only said hi to me a few times a week. we're in band class together and i stare at her sometimes. She has a boyfriend, but their relationship only started about 2 weeks ago. The wierd part is that sometimes i catch her staring at me, but then she looks away and dozes off into a kind of thoughtful trance. like i said before, after i found out that she knew that i liked her, she hasn't really paid a lot of attention to me. she only says hi to me sometimes(rarely actually). Wat do i do? besides "whenever i see her say "hi" and then her name clearly and give a big smile". I really love this girl and i dont have a lot of time cuz when the school year ends she will go to college. so... wat do i do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt wouldn't hurt your chances to say "hi" with a big smile... in fact it would help them.
She seems to be sort of freezing you out. This started after she found out that you like her. She is sending you a message that she is not interested, and, in fact, she now has a boyfriend.
There's not much you can do when the odds are stacked against you like this. The only hope is to become a best friend of hers and be available when/if she breaks up with her boyfriend. But that could take forever.
Buy her a Christmas present-- that always makes someone feel good.
Good luck! George
