I'm not interested nor do I have the time
Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old FemaleWe like eachother. He hesitates to committ because he wants to figure out what he wants. He's leaving his wife after 28 years. We e-mial for 8 months. I make it clear, we can never be more than friends as long as they live together. It's understood. We continue writing and talking on the phone. Suddenly, no response for over a month. last message sent said he really liked me. However, actions speak louder than words. So I forget him. I don't want to date him, I'm not interested nor do I have the time.I miss the conversations, and relating to someone I have much in common with. I want to keep in touch, but just as friends. Because of a common interest we will be crossing paths next week. I want to make some contact before then. Otherwise, I'll just have to see how seeing him goes. I miss his e-mails. Your wisdom is very much appreciated.
RomanceClass.com AdviceWrite an email and say that you are looking forward to seeing him.
Ask him if he would like to continue your emails just as friends.
Find out what's happening with his wife... this might explain why he stopped communicating with you. (If they have reconciled, for example).
When you see him, you can get a better idea of what he's thinking.
Good luck! George
