I know that he is still the one for me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I was with a wonderful guy for almost 2 years. We were so good together, we really understood each other and loved each other so much. Both of us thought that the other was "the one", and we had talked about spending the rest of our lives together. For some reason, about 3 months ago, I got a lot of anger over silly things build up inside of me and I told him off. We fought back and forth over email until we finally decided we should end it. At this point, 3 months later, I know that he is still the one for me. I'm not lonely and I'm ok to be on my own-- it's HIM I miss. I know he's the one. I started corresponding with him, then finally told him how I was feeling, that I wanted him back and would do whatever it took to keep him. We've talked a lot since then, but he says he is "not comfortable" with me, and has decided to "date" other people. However, we keep talking, almost daily. Am I hopeless in thinking he would ever want me back? How can I get him to see what he saw before in me?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He probably just needs some more time to accept the fact that you are truly sorry for the things you said to him.

Make an effort to apologize more for saying what you said.

It sounds like he is considering getting back with you. Give this some more time. Invite him over for his favorite home cooked meal. You know what they say about the way to a man's heart is through his stomach :) If he goes for that, then bake some chocolate chip cookies for him!

Good luck! George
