User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Male Wait for 3 months I'm in the same exact situation, my advice to you is don't call her or contact her, give it a good 3 or more months before even trying to be her friend. I know exactly how you feel. after, that you could decide weather you want to be her friend. but if you contact her she'll know that you want her back just because she found someone else. and that's not right. give yourself time before you decide on being with her.Did you wanted her this bad when you were together. I don't think so. You want what you can't have. So, just take it like a man. if she comes around then she comes, but if not those 3 or more months of not talking or seeing her prepared you for the situation that she is not coming back. Meanwhile, just upgrade yourself. I know it's hard very hard, believe me I'm going through the same thing right now. And besides, if you had a long term relationship with her she'll relize that she misses you, but if she doesn't, oh well, let him have your scraps and just move on.
