How to get my ex back?We often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male Well, I am a gay male, age 21, and me and my bf just broke up. Our first date was a year ago, we dated once in a while, but didn't become official boyfriends until 4 months ago. I really loved, and still love him, but I think I expected too much out of him, I was his first bf, and I kept pressuring for him to "pay attention" to me and things like that, but anyways, we just broke up, because, although, we took a couple weeks break from eachother, because things werent doing so well, and we agreed it would be best, so he could prove to me during that break that he wanted to be my bf, and during the break, he slept with someone else. He told me this, and i extremely overreacted and went off on him. He told me he still cares about me and still wants me in his life as a friend. Some of the things I said to him were kind of hurtful and I regret it, but we are still friends sort of, but I feel like he's totally lost all feelings for me. I know that you would just tell me to get over it and move on, but if you were in my shoes, and loved this person so much, how could I get their feelings for me to come back, and possibly give our relationship another chance? User Submitted Advice from a 31-40 year old Female Give him his space Don't make the mistake I made appear possessive and smothering. I met a nice guy, that I wanted a relationship with, and I bew it big time. Just call me a jackass, Give him his space to deal with his problems, don't try to fix his problems, let him come to you for help, and try to be so in-charge. Its Ok to let the man be the man. Take it from me, this is one thing, I will always regret. So, now, I write about romance, but, I would rather experience it with him. The Original Question and RomanceClass Answer
