Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female i cheated on my now husband when was just engaged and i hit it from him for 5 years. We have 2 small children and our problems kept getting worse, i would nag him yell at him scream at him and do all types of mean things to him. well i finally decided that we needed a break and i moved out and took our children with me. and then someone who i thought was a friend told him that i cheated on him with that person and that she saw us doing it. and when i asked about it i didnt deny it i told the truth. my husband is still very hurt and said that he believes or marriage is over but wants me to move back in the house with the kids he said thats the only reason i would be there and that nothing is going to change between us. my question is how can i live in a house with him as his wife but not be his wife. I love my husband and i am in love with him i just dont know what to do i am torn i am glad i have no more secrets but now he sees how much better life is without me. Should i take the kids home and show him i am not the same person i was months ago or should i just say forget it. i know he loves me and is still in love with me any help would be great thank you User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Male Be responsible It is highly likely that your husband still loves you. That is the main reason he decided to bring you back. The only problem he seemes to have is thinking what the other people will say, and he just don't want to appear in public as a stupid person. So his main aim by saying that is purely that he needs an excuse, or word to say when people ask him why he brought you back. But that doen't mean you should take advantage of him because he is the person, and just like anyboby else he will be very angry and all this destruction you have done through being controlled by heart done by head,will come back to him in case you can do such a great fault or a fault of a kind.
