Don't know what to doWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male There is this girl. I have liked her for almost 3 years. Most of that time she had a boyfreind. She was still one of my best freinds for that time. Her boyfreind treated her real bad and cheated on her a few times and no one liked him but her. She broke up with the guy she was with about 4 months ago. Although I wanted to tell her how I felt I didn't because I would be graduating and heading off to a college about 3 hours away and she is a year younger than me and would be at home. I just felt it wouldn't have been fair to her. So I hadn't said anything. Time went by and she and I are still close and she has started to flirt more than before and she kept telling me how she was going to miss me and how she didn't know what she would do next year without me. So I was thinking about telling her how I felt before I left. So after my graduation we where both at a party. I got real drunk and so did she. We started to talk and some how I ended up telling her that I loved her. Then she said something, which I thought ment she didn't believe me, I'm not sure exactly what was said, but I went aroud telling people how I felt about her. Then later that night I sent her a text, I don't remember all that it said but it more or less confirmed what I had told her before, but I miss spelled my name. I called her but she didn't answer, this could just be because it was 3 a.m. and she was a sleep or maybe she didn't want to talk to me. Then I sent another one later that night that said that I loved her and I really ment all that I said and got the name right. My problem is that I haven't talked to her since, it has only been a few days but I'm feeling kind of anxious. I'm not sure if I should call her or maybe go to see her at work and talk to her, or wait and see if she talks to me about it first. I'm not sure if she remembers it or not, so I really don't know what to do. I do know that that was not how I wanted to tell her. User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Male Wait a week dude , its good that you told her how you felt . i think you need to let her be f or about a week . that way she can understand whats happening . do not pressure her or she may end up dropping you out on the curb. i know i'm dealing with the same type of situation.
