JealousWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male I read into things that aren't true. How do i look at the reality of something that might make me jealous rather than the fear? I'm so affraid that my girlfriend will find another guy that has more to offer than I do. Is her flirting, something that should make me jealous? User Submitted Advice from a 31-40 year old Female There are times when jealosy is a helpful response in that it can help you decide if the person you are with is a healthy person for you. Some people intentionally go out of their way to make the person they are with jealous...it may have to do with their own insecurity ....like they think it will make them more desirable etc....Some red flags were going off for me when you said your girlfreind was flirting... if you have told your girlfriend you are really uncomfortable with her flirting with other guys and she continues to do so (make sure it is indeed flirting and not just talking )then she doesn't respect your feelings enough to stop..then you need to move on...a girl that loves you would stop flrting if you had expressed your hurt feelings ...
