He's After my Twin?We often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Female My boyfriend and I have been friends since the 8th grade. At first he wanted to date my twin sister. But she didnt like him like that. So he starts liking me. We went together for a while but i dumped him because he called me my sister's name all the time. Summer break comes along and i start talking to him online. We talked all the time. We would talk about all kinds of stuff, and sometimes we would fight. Then school comes along then we see each other for the 1st time in 3 months and i asked him if he liked anybody, and he said that he liked me. He asked me if i still had feelings for him and i said that i still did a little. So he asked me if i wanted to be with him and it took me for ever to answer him. Finally i say yes. he wrote me notes saying for the love of my life. And he always tells me he loves me. Well a month into our relationship he tells my sister that he likes somebody else and that he didnt know if he likes that other person better than he likes me. so i said that he should give it a try with that other girl and see what happens. I was so upset over the whole thing i cried that whole night and the next day at school infront of everyone. That next night he calls me and tells me that he doesnt like that girl and that he was upset that night he dumped me. He said that he was so miserable without me and that he didnt know why he dumped me. i was thinking the whole time when he was telling me this whatever...so i told him that i would give him another chance. Weeks go by and he calls me all the time and we talk and talk for hours. Then he starts coming over to my house and my sister is always there and her friend A. Every time he comes over they are there. He even told me that he didnt want to come over unless they are there. I asked him why and he said that they make it fun. So basicly he tells me that im boring RIGHT? Now he is calling me less often and i think that he is becoming distant. Is there something wrong with me? if so what is it? Does he like my sister again? What should i do? User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Male Hey, I think you could have made this a shorter story not going into so much detail earlier on. However, i know from experience, its really hard being a guy his age. Especially dating a twin! Give him some slack, he doesn't think your boring most likely, but maybe he isnt good at 1 on 1 conversation. I'm not, id rather have a group there. Maybe, he just likes your sister there and he friend to take the edge of. It could be anything. Just ask him why! Maybe he likes your sisters friend, or maybe he does like your sister and you or maybe just her or something. Its really hard being a guy and dating!
